Customer Review: Blossoming with erotica
Can you tell the difference between fantasy and reality?

The Lesbian Goddess straddles the distinction between these realms in ORCHIDS II REALITY OR FANTASY, a short but sweet collection of bonafide bedroom bliss. This second in a series is the sequel to Orchids: African American Lesbian Erotica One Night Stands, and this time it's every woman's desires on display. Ranging from poetic lovemaking to kinky sex shop romps, seven unique stories make up this compilation and every one is well worth the read. To give you just a taste…

It begins with "Sensual Exploration," a picturesque, sensory escapade between two very sensual women. Their lovemaking is described in such graphic language that one can visualize the romantic rendezvous with the unnamed women.

Then Naughty walks this way in "Get Yo Freak On," as a stud tries to find just the right sexual items to turn her girl on and gets a very hands-on lesson from the adult store worker.

Finally, Natalie takes a first-class plane ride in "Up, Up, and Away" and falls for Vanessa, her flight attendant. Lucky for her, the stewardess pays extra special attention to the stud passenger.

In Orchids II, The Lesbian Goddess creates this world of sensual adventures that gets you every time. This was a more enjoyable outing than the previous one, as it seemed the author turned up the heat on this second pleasure trip. Even with only a few pages per story, I was very aroused — and relished it. The tawdry tales are hot and you will enjoy every one of them.

I know my girlfriend did.
Customer Review: The Pleasure of Her Company
Although I consider myself a well-rounded reader with few genres left unexplored, including lesbian fiction, biographies, and social studies, I must confess that my exploration of lesbian erotica has been scant.

My first real introduction to this literary art form came during a book event at last year's Hotter Than July's Black Gay and Lesbian Pride Celebration in Detroit when The Lesbian Goddess read from her slim volume "Orchids II Reality or Fantasy."

The room was packed, predominantly with black gay men, yours truly included. The beautiful author, beat and coiffed to the nines, fashionably dressed in a tight-fitting, above the knee, low-cleavage designer dress and impossibly high heeled pumps straight out of "The Devil Wears Prada," was a dazzling study in self-confident sensuality.

Yet, none of us gentlemen of a decided bent were prepared for the mesmerizing female-to-female sexcapades she so artfully and frankly laid out before us.

I recently acquired the book, and am happy to report that this collection of African American lesbian erotica packs quite a satisfying wallop.

Written in six tantalizing episodes, interspersed with almost stream-of-conscious musings, we are treated to sexual encounters that are so vivid and fulfilling that we really don't know if they are reality or fantasy, and quite frankly, we don't care. Who wouldn't want to get off like the ladies in these too-short fifty-six pages do?

"Sensual Exploration" is the narrator's sexy remembrance of how good `good' can be with the right woman who knows how to hit the right buttons and when and what to spank. "Doing My Rounds" details a security guard who gets a voyeuristic thrill when, during her 2 a.m. rounds, stumbles upon an executive in her office pleasing herself.

"Weakness" titillates with a late-night tryst following a ladies-only game of Truth or Dare, while "My Ex" finds a damsel distressed over missing the great sex from a no-good partner she doesn't want to get back with. Or does she?

"Get Yo Freak On!" is my favorite. A Twentysomething hip-hop thug diva, jazzed for a freak session with her girl the next day, goes to a sex shop for toys. It's closing time, but the attractive clerk reluctantly accommodates the customer. As the clerk brings out the various toys, she personally demonstrates them, providing the patron with an unforgettably creative sexual romp, and this writer with an eye-popping education. (The author even provides a glossary of terms and website addresses where the different items mention herein can be purchased.)

"Shangri-La" is the story of a sassy little love-`em-and-leave-`em `fem' who uses her sex to turn the tables on three different women. The collection closes with "Up, Up and Away," the story of a young woman who gets pleasured by a flight attendant during a transatlantic flight, and ends up with more than she bargains for.

"Orchid II Reality or Fantasy" is a naughty and winning little piece of clit-lit. While reading, keep something damp and washable close by.
